That time of year has come around,
To visit Europe's largest travelling fairground,
The rides, sounds, smells and lights,
Make this fair an awesome sight!
The kiddies want to try their luck
And win a prize on "hook a duck"
The older ones take to rides that scare,
Get flung around into the air!
The carousel and dodgems too
Side shows with a prize for you.
Fairground food to fill the gap
From candy floss to Brandy Snap
Roasted Chestnuts, fish and chips
Sweets on sticks with chocolate dips.
The atmosphere is unique here
And only found this time of year
Excited children come on down
Europe's largest fair has come to town!
